The Alden 18 is the most versatile open water rowing shell. It offers all the benefits of the Alden 16, plus the ability to easily set up for double or single rowing. From 2005 the Alden 18 has been reduced in weight, made possible by using both carbon and glass fibre in its construction, making it even more manageable on land.
