Oarsport Junior Sculling Head

In support of junior rowing in the U.K. Oarsport are pleased to announce our second year of a four year major sponsorship of the National Junior Sculling Head (now known as The Oarsport Junior Sculling Head) up to and including 2012. This rapidly growing event shows the strength and breadth of junior rowing developing across the country just when the nation needs you to carry forward the momentum of recent outstanding successes and on to the next Olympics and beyond.

Today's juniors are our future World and Olympic Champions, as well as club captains and coaches and it is important to encourage them to prosper in the sport, particularly with the government strategy on leading a healthier lifestyle. From experience, we know that our sport will lead to fitter, healthier, more disciplined individuals learning important life skills along the way and we support this wholeheartedly.

Zac Purchase with Nottingham Rowing Clubs' 2009 silver medal WJ16 4x. Georgia Smith, Katie Bartlett, Holly Oughton and Mary Wilson.
